Message from the President

The vision of the City University Ajman is to become a distinguished, comprehensive university at the local, global, and international level. The provision of high-quality education is at the heart of this vision.
We seek academic excellence in all of our endeavors. Our major strength lies in a strong team of highly qualified faculty and dedicated administration to deliver high-quality education that is modern and interfaced with the job market. The latest technologies are employed for effective delivery and the curriculum emphasizes practice and implementation learning in its entire curriculum.
CUA holds a diverse student and faculty body, with over 50 nationalities represented on campus. We form alliances with highly reputed local and international organizations. We strive to incorporate a global perspective in all of our academic programs and activities to prepare our students for success in a rapidly changing global environment.
With a focus on excellence and leadership in education, we are committed to providing our students with a comprehensive learning environment that is forward-thinking, academically stimulating, and culturally enriching. There is a continued emphasis on enhancing student learning at CUA. Experiential learning, active learning, and integrated learning are some of the approaches that are taking students beyond the four walls of a classroom into a creative learning domain.
As a futuristic institution, we foster research and innovation at various levels. While faculty research is at the forefront of institutional priority, support for students has become an organic process. Integrating research into the teaching and learning process, while promoting innovation through special initiatives continues to engage students. As agents of research and innovation the students and faculty at CUA will undoubtedly contribute to the UAE’s national vision. Specifically, by aligning its goals with the UAE’s national vision for higher education, CUA continues to play a pivotal role in contributing to the nation’s broader objectives of economic diversification, global competitiveness, and sustainable development.
To engage and support faculty, students, and the community, CUA stands on an excellent institutional governance infrastructure that effectively operationalizes academic and administrative processes. The embedded quality assurance, risk management, and integrated accountability mechanisms the governance process maintains its efficiency.
City University Ajman maintains a multidimensional 360 degrees view that is holistic as it achieves its vision.

Welcome Remarks to the Student Body

Good afternoon, dear students, faculty, and City University Ajman community.

I welcome you to the beginning of the 2025–26 academic year with great joy and anticipation. Whether you are a first-year student just beginning your higher education journey or a returning student continuing to advance toward your degree, I commend you for your decision to pursue higher education and for entrusting City University Ajman with your future.

We value your trust in choosing CUA.

You have chosen a university that is more than a place of learning. It is a thriving community. It represents different nationalities, cultures, and perspectives. Above all, your classroom discussions, friendships, and collaborations will cross boundaries and expand your worldview.

For our new students: I know the transition to university life may feel exciting and overwhelming. But you will not walk this path alone. You will be supported by your professors, dedicated advisors, and peers who will soon become lifelong friends.
