Introduction

Recognizing the pivotal role that scientific research plays in developing educational practices, the Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Department at City University Ajman is hosting its First International Scientific Conference under the theme: “Towards Innovative Education Led by Research and Practice”.

This conference serves as a pioneering academic platform targeting researchers from graduate students and practicing teachers, acting as a bridge between educational theory and field application.

The conference aims to showcase distinguished research output covering vital themes including: curriculum and teaching methods, classroom management, educational technology, educational psychology, special education, and professional development. The conference also aspires to establish the concept of the “teacher-researcher” capable of innovating practical solutions to educational challenges and enhancing knowledge exchange among specialists, contributing to improving the quality of the educational process.

Participation Guidelines

  • Participation in the conference is limited to teachers and graduate students in colleges of education, as the conference primarily focuses on student and teacher research exclusively.
  • The research must be original and has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
  • The research must fall within the conference themes and be submitted in either Arabic or English.
  • The research should not exceed 7,000 words, written in Simplified Arabic font (size 14) for research in Arabic, and Times New Roman (size 12) for research in English. Both should have 2.5 cm margins on all four sides and include abstracts in both Arabic and English, each not exceeding 250 words.
  • Submitted research will undergo scientific peer review, and accepted papers will be published in an electronic book.
  • Receipt of a research paper or its abstract by the conference committee does not necessarily mean acceptance to participate in the conference. The scientific committee reserves the right to decline a paper without providing reasons.
