General Education Program
Program Educational Objectives:
- Enhance students’ success opportunities through effective teaching and learning methods and continuous professional development for the faculty.
- Encourage faculty members to conduct research that contributes to the development of the knowledge economy and supports innovative scientific activities.
- Actively participate in enhancing the college’s academic and scientific standing, which will attract students from all over the world.
- Strengthen students’ skills in technology and increase their awareness of a rapidly changing world.
- Encourage faculty members and students to participate in community volunteer work, thus reinforcing the department’s societal role
After successfully completing the General Education courses, the student will be able to:
- Apply linguistic, graphical, and visual strategies to produce content that is succinct and linguistically accurate.
- Employ a variety of technological tools and resources innovatively for academics and professionals to make or arrive at decisions.
- Solve scientific and mathematical problems to arrive at evidence-based conclusions.
- Analyze natural phenomena and contemporary issues by utilizing scientific methods.
- Evaluate the different cultural opinions and trends by employing higher-order thinking skills.
