Welcome to the Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness Department at City University Ajman. Our mission is to “Implement an efficient institutional effectiveness system that integrates planning, research, and assessment processes to generate and disseminate quality information for organizational decisions while seeking continuous improvement opportunities in an evidence-based culture.”

The QA & IE Department:

1. Maintains quality assurance and institutional effectiveness for all academic, administrative, and support units.
2. Ensures the implementation of effective and efficient teaching and learning practices and improves student success and employability.
3. Ensures the achievement of Learning Outcomes at the course and program levels.
4. Ensures compliance with the accrediting and regulatory bodies in the UAE.
5. Complies with the requirements of international accrediting agencies

To fulfill these responsibilities, the Office of Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness actively communicates with the university community, the Ministry of Education, national and international accrediting bodies, and other relevant authorities. The Department ensures that the institution and its programs are well-represented and that all partners and stakeholders are satisfied with the university’s performance and offerings. The Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness Department aims to develop, maintain, and oversee the activities of continuous improvement and quality assurance at City University Ajman, including accreditation processes, academic assessment, and strengthening planning processes and decision-making by collecting and analyzing information and data.
