Student Learning Support Center

The Student Learning Support Center aims to accomplish and implement the strategic goal of the university to enhance student success in two ways. First, to ensure that the university runs programs that engage students who may be academically at risk and second, to motivate outstanding students, with the help of the faculty, to help other students with low academic performance. This, in the long run, improves student success and institutional effectiveness.

The Student Learning Support Center uses from its existing pool of talent, the faculty members and students with excellent academic standing, to access and support students on academic probation or those who are academically at risk.

The Student Learning Support Center is a joint project under the supervision of the Student Affairs and currently in collaboration with the College of Humanities and may partner with other academic programs in the future. The center aims at assisting new students with the requirements of their academic programs. The program will be divided into two stages. The first stage will address the first year Bachelor students to improve their skills of essay writing, assignment writing, and exam writing skills. It is part of CUA’s endeavor to provide its students with the best quality of education, while providing outstanding students with opportunities for training and future career development. The second stage will be to provide support to different courses.
