Dental Internship Program

Admission Process

Duration: The internship program typically lasts for one clinical training year (12 months)

Location: City University Ajman -College of Dentistry -Dental students’ clinics -UAE

Accreditation: The National Institute of Health Specialties (NIHS) accredited the program in June 2024.

Eligibility: To qualify for an internship, students must have finished a 5-year dental program at a recognized dental institute and achieved a DMD/DDS/BDS degree or its equivalent, either nationally or overseas/ Students pursuing a degree in dentistry/ Recent graduates looking to gain practical experience

Fees:   CUA graduates: 55,000 AED including VAT           External graduates: 63,000 AED Including VAT

Start of the dental internship program:  1/10/2024

Documents required to complete the admission:

  • Attested BDS/DDS/DMD certificate (National /International) – If Graduation done from outside UAE then the degree and transcript must be attested by the country of issuing and ministry of foreign affairs, UAE along with equivalency from Ministry of Education, UAE
  • Valid BLS certificate
  • Valid IELTS Certificate
  • Hep B vaccination and/or antibody titre report
  • Malpractice medical insurance certificate (MMI)
  • MOH Dental Intern Trainee License
  • Short CV

NOTE: Upon successful submission of the above documents you will receive an Admission letter from the registration.
